Corniglia among all the other Cinque Terre towns is the one that has kept the real Cinque Terre spirit and atmosphere. This is probably due to the fact that it is a little more isolated than the other towns and that's why it is more popular with tourists looking for peace and quiet and a wonderful natural landscape.

Path 2 joins Corniglia to Vernaza and to Monterosso and it is one of the most beautiful walk in Cinque Terre National park. Also the path number 7A and 6D joins Corniglia with Manarola going thru the little and beautiful town of Volastra. Corniglia perfect if you are looking for beautiful walking path.

You can reach Corniglia by exiting the Autostrada (freeway/motorway/highway) at Autostrada exit of La Spezia or by train. Arriving by train outside the train station you'll find a bus that will bring you up to town. Otherwise you can also walk up through the long stairway Lardarina (350 steps) or you can also walk on the road that joins the train station with Corniglia.

Please let us know your arrival time, it will be helpful for us. Thank you so much.

Important: in this moment the road between Corniglia and Monterosso or Levanto it is interrupted above Vernazza, so do not get out from the autostrada at Carrodano-Levanto or Brugnato-Borghetto even if your GPS Navigator will tell you so. If by any chance you have to get to Corniglia from Levanto or Monterosso you have to drive down to Vernazza and from there take another road up to again. These two roads are very narrow and difficult to drive, so please try to come to Corniglia via La Spezia.
